- ASAIO
hosts an Annual Conference. The Scientific Sessions include Slide Forums, Poster Sessions, Debates, Lectures and Symposia. The 57th Annual Conference will be held in Washington, DC June 10, 11 & 12, 2011.
- ASAIO Members pay a Reduced Registration Fee for the Annual Conference that saves you almost the cost of your Dues!
- ASAIO
Members may Submit Abstracts for consideration for presentation at the
Annual Conference. This is done online beginning in December. Abstracts that meet the criteria of the Program
Planning Committee are published in the March/April Issue of the
ASAIO Journal.
- ASAIO Provides Continuing Education for CME, CCP and CNE Accreditation through the Annual Conference.
- ASAIO
publishes a Bimonthly Journal, five issues of which are Peer Reviewed
articles. The sixth (March/April Issue) contains submitted Abstracts.
ASAIO Members receive all Journal issues.
- ASAIO Members have access to the ASAIO Members Only Section on the website.

ASAIO
launched an initiative, “Introductory Industry and Entrepreneurs to the
Physicians and Scientists of ASAIO”.
Available only to members, this program is designed to bridge
collaboration between Members and Industry partners of ASAIO. Simply fill out a short form available on the
website www.asaio.com and your record is added
to a database that is password protected and available only to companies that interact
with ASAIO on a regular basis. To read

Young Innovator Membership
ASAIO Young Innovators represent undergraduates, graduate students,
research fellows, medical residents, postdoctoral scientists, and young
researchers / assistant professors. You can apply for this category of
membership by providing a letter prepared and signed by your department
head on departmental stationery, or by your direct supervisor on
company stationery.
Curriculum Vitae
Please submit a Curriculum Vitae along with the Membership Application
that includes postdoctoral and other training, type of study,
institution, dates and the names of any other professional societies of
which you are a member.
